Children's Minister
Hermitage Hills Baptist Church is searching for a Children’s Minister to lead their children’s ministry (babies – 5th grade).
Hermitage Hills is strategically located on the east side of Nashville within driving distance of thousands of families. The church has a long history of reaching its community for Christ and prioritizing the next generation. In recent years, the church made a multimillion-dollar investment in the next generation by building a dedicated space for children and students. Since the fall of 2023, the church has experienced significant growth in baptisms and attendance, as well as become debt free. Young families are joining the church and the children’s ministry is growing. It’s an exciting time at Hermitage Hills and the church looks forward to the leadership of the next Children’s Minister.

Primary Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of the children’s ministry: Sunday morning LIFE Groups; Sunday morning worship service for preschool (Treehouse) and children (Garage); Wednesday night Kids Life program; summer camp; and children’s ministry events throughout the year.
- Recruit, develop, and lead adult volunteers.
- Partner with and equip parents and families.
- Plan creative outreach events and initiatives to reach children and their families.
- Collaborate with the next generation team to develop a discipleship plan for children.
- Manage 2 direct reports: preschool minister and administrative assistant.
Education/Experience
- Undergraduate degree preferred.
- Some form of theological training preferred.
- Has experience serving in a children’s ministry in a growing and healthy church.
- Has recruited, developed, and led volunteers to serve with children.
