Matt Hill joined Hermitage Hills Baptist Church as Lead Pastor in 2023. His vision is to lead Hermitage Hills to be a genuine and relational church that follows Jesus and reaches those far from God. His education includes a doctorate in strategic leadership and evangelistic church growth from New Orleans Seminary, a master’s of divinity from Southeastern Seminary, and a bachelor’s in business from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Prior to Hermitage Hills, he served churches in North Carolina, Florida, and Texas. He and his wife, Rachel, have four children: Avonlea, Caleb, Isaac, and David.
